• Sighting reports: Photos, videos, GPS coordinates, timestamps, and descriptions you submit.
• Device information: Device model, OS version, and app version for debugging and analytics.
• Location data: GPS location when you report a sighting or browse the map (with your permission).

How We Use Your Information

• To provide the sighting reporting and community features.
• To display your reports on the public sighting map.
• To send you notifications about nearby sightings, comments, and app updates.
• To improve the app and build AI analysis features.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Sighting reports you submit are publicly visible on the map and feed. Your email and account details are never shared publicly.

Authentication Providers

We use Apple, Google, and email-based authentication via Supabase. Each provider collects minimal data (email, name) to create your account. See their respective privacy policies for details.

Data Retention

We retain your account data until you request deletion. You can delete your account at any time from the app settings. Sighting reports may be retained in anonymized form for historical research purposes.

UFO Tracker is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
